The High Hopes Clubhouse

 

A Vocational Rehabilitation Program for Adults with Mental Illness based on the

Clubhouse Model of Psychiatric Rehabilitation

Our Program Consists of:

*The Work-Ordered Day

Members and staff work side by side in the running of the Clubhouse.

*Employment

Competitive employment placement services, Transitional Employment, Supported Employment and ongoing job support.

 *Advocacy

Members also receive assistance with transportation, disability benefits, computer education, social activities and referrals to other community resources. 

Philosophy

Membership is voluntary and without time limits. The Clubhouse is a place where members participate with dignity and respect. The members are wanted and needed by the Clubhouse Community. The participation by the members is essential to the functioning of the Clubhouse.

The Clubhouse provides an opportunity to gain self-confidence through working with other members, staff and the community at large. For those who are ready to work, the Clubhouse offers comprehensive employment services such as: job development, job placement, job coaching and ongoing job support.
